Do you have any Wedding Day Specials?
(Here's a good example of what can be achieved. Susan was getting married and wanted something special for her new husband, Andrew. Susan has kindly given her permission for her poem and story to be published.)
Babyone
What is your name : Susan Bourne
Do you have any
funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would
like to share: I knew Andy some 15 years ago through his brother Mark,
but always have remembered him as Marks' little brother, we have occasionally
bumped into one another over the years but were both with someone at the time.
One night I went out with my friends into town and after a few too many left
early by myself. I bumped into Andy that night he was working ( he's a police
officer ), we chatted and exchanged numbers, I jokingly said did he not mind
that I was older than him to which he replied how old was I, I said I was 27
and he laughed and said he was 28 the following week! I'd always remembered
him as Marks' little brother as I'd never looked at him in that light before.
We text each other and arranged to go out on a date. Andy took me to the
pictures on our first date to see Red Dragon, I watched most of the film
cuddled up to him as I don't really like scary films, maybe that was his plan!
From that night on we were inseparably, I knew I'd found my soul mate. Within
weeks Andy had moved in with me and my son Luca and in the February Andy asked
me to marry him, I felt like the happiest person alive and said yes of course.
In March we went on our first holiday together with some friends and my son
Luca, we had a great time, Andy got burnt on his back and Luca and I had
little competitions to see who could get the biggest piece of skin of his
back, yuk!!! We started to renovate our new house we had bought aiming to move
in as quick as possible. Whilst we were doing the house up Andy nailed down a
floor board and burst the water pipe below it, was a funny moment you had to
be there. We have just spent our first Christmas in our new home and it was
the best. Andrew is very warm and loving, caring and considerate. I know that
he ill never hurt me. He has taken me knowing my past troubles and without a
thought my son as well. Luca and I love him to bits. We have little names for
each other my name for Andy is 'Babyone' his for me is to rude to print! We
tell each other we love each other sometimes by saying ' all the world' or 'to
the moon and back again'. I can't imagine what my life would have been like
had our paths not crossed the last time we met. It must have been fate. He
makes me so very happy and I know that he holds my heart in his hand, I know
he will be gentle with it. We talk about having children, we say little
wressell's. I cannot wait to have his children and to see him as a father, i
know he will be wonderful. At times Andy has little insecurities as he thinks
sometimes that I'm too beautiful to be with him and could do so much better. I
answer to him we are good enough for each other. He is the best and I want him
to know that I wouldn't swap him for anyone else in the whole wide world. Andy
has been hurt before too and i want him to know I will never take his love for
granted and will never hurt him. Andy is very witty at times and comes out
with some great one liners, he has a great sense of humour.
Do you have any
other comments or thoughts: I just really want to tell him how much I
love him, how special he is to me and my son. To thank him for asking me to be
his wife, which I cannot wait to be. That I am proud of him and all he has
done.( he looks very sexy in his uniform too ) and that every day for the rest
of my life I will love him and cherish what we have. What style of poem would you prefer (happy, sad, romantic etc.): romantic and funny in places

It doesn’t seem so long ago, when I was there, sitting on my own, contemplating a troubled and torrid past, a past where I'd spent most of it feeling all alone.
But then you walked into my life, and it was like a firework had lit up my night sky, and I’m going to try and explain that line, or at least I’m going to give it my very best try.
You see, you don’t know how really bad ‘bad’ is, that is until you’ve had your share of bad and troubled times, you then know the real meaning of heartache, you know the agony in all those desperate rhymes.
I appreciate you so much more because of that knowledge, because I know just how cruel life can be, and I just wanted you to know that you’re special, you simply mean the very world to me.
The night we met I'd had one too many, but now I'm glad I did, (and I’d always thought of you as Mark’s little brother), I knew my destiny had been rearranged, I’d met my soul-mate (and there’ll never be another).
Our first date was a free ticket picture show, Red Dragon had me cuddling you and hiding my eyes, I guess that was your fiendishly clever plan, as within weeks you’d moved in with me and Luca (no surprise).
When you asked me to marry you, I felt like the happiest woman on earth, because I know the value of true and real love, and just how much that love is truly worth.
Our first holiday together was wonderful, apart from your case of sunburn attack, but I must admit Luca and I enjoyed the competition, who could get the biggest piece of skin off your back.
And the renovations on our house sort of went OK, that is apart from the water pipe you burst, it gave us all a big laugh that day, (and also quenched a few termite’s thirst).
We’ve just spent our first Christmas in our new home, and I’ve got to say it was simply the best, and Andrew, husband, I love you, (you passed the audition, you came top in the test).
You’re so very warm, loving, caring and considerate, and I am truly smitten by your worldly charms, I know I’ll never be lost and lonely again, I feel totally safe whenever I’m in your arms.
Luca and I love you to bits! You’re much more than a friend to my son, and although your name for me is too rude to print, I love you my “Babyone”.
All the world and to the moon and back again, that’s just how wonderful you really are, and if my love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star.
If I tried to imagine my life without you,
I would see one of
darkness, of no light at all, I’m looking forward to our Wressels, large and small.
I know sometimes you have a little insecurity, but I reckon we’re just a perfect match, and of all the fishes in this world, let me tell you, I’ve got the pick of the catch.
I will never take your love for granted, and your one liners I could never possibly out do, so just know that I wouldn’t swap you for the world, so Babyone, it must mean that this love is really true!
So, I just wanted to say I love you, I guess that’s really what these words are for, Andrew, I love you very much, and I promise you that love today, always and forever more.
